The bloodlines behind every kitten

Champion bloodlines we hand-pick from.

We are an AVS-licensed cattery, not a breeder — we don’t raise kittens, we import them. Every CatzillaSG Ragdoll kitten traces back to championship-bloodline parents at the selective breeders we partner with abroad — internationally registered with WCF, CFA, TICA, and ANCATS. Fully health-screened, genetically tested, and chosen for both temperament and conformation.

The breed

The cat that goes limp in your arms.

The Ragdoll cat is bred for one trait above all others: temperament. Ragdoll cats are calm, deeply people-oriented, and famously relaxed when held — the breed name comes from how they go boneless in your arms. Big blue eyes, a silky semi-long coat, and a quiet purr complete the Ragdoll cat package.

Every CatzillaSG Ragdoll kitten in Singapore is hand-socialised from birth and comes home with a 5-generation pedigree certificate, full vaccination record, and our lifetime congenital health guarantee.

Common questions

About Ragdoll cats.

How big do Ragdolls get?

Ragdolls are one of the largest domestic cat breeds. Males typically reach 5–7kg, females 4–5kg, and they continue growing up to 4 years old.

Are Ragdolls good for first-time cat owners in Singapore?

Yes — Ragdolls are widely considered one of the best beginner-friendly breeds. Their calm temperament, easy grooming, and quiet voice make them ideal for first-time owners and apartment living.

Do Ragdolls get along with children and other pets?

Famously yes. Their relaxed nature means they tolerate gentle handling from children well, and they typically settle with resident cats and dogs after a slow introduction.

How much grooming does a Ragdoll need?

Just a weekly comb to remove loose hairs. Their semi-long coat lacks the dense undercoat that mats — no professional grooming required.

How long do Ragdolls live?

Well-cared-for Ragdolls can live up to 18 years. Our lifetime congenital health guarantee covers any inherited condition for the kitten’s entire life.

Ragdoll · Q&A

Questions, answered.

Everything new owners ask about CatzillaSG Ragdoll kittens — visiting, our process, care, and bringing your kitten home.

How much does a Ragdoll kitten cost in Singapore?
We don’t publish kitten pricing online. We don’t sell a kitten purely on price — what matters most is the chemistry between the kitten and the family they’re going home to, and that only shows when you meet them in person. Come visit our AVS-licensed Singapore cattery to see our Ragdoll kittens, watch how they respond to you, and ask us anything about temperament, care or the import journey. Book a visit on our make-an-appointment page, or message us on WhatsApp at +65 8743 7068 for current pricing.
What is the temperament of a Ragdoll cat?
Ragdolls are famously docile, affectionate and people-oriented — often described as “dog-like” for following their owners from room to room. They go limp when picked up (the trait that gave the breed its name), tolerate handling exceptionally well and are usually quiet, gentle and ideal first-time cats or family companions.
How big do Ragdolls get?
Ragdolls are one of the largest domestic cat breeds. Adult females typically reach 4–6 kg and males 6–9 kg, with full size reached at around 3–4 years old. They develop slowly compared with most breeds — your CatzillaSG Ragdoll kitten will still be filling out well into their third year.
Are Ragdolls hypoallergenic?
No cat is truly hypoallergenic, but Ragdolls produce a moderate amount of the Fel d 1 protein responsible for most cat allergies — generally less than long-coated breeds like Persians. Many mildly allergic owners tolerate Ragdolls well; we recommend visiting our Singapore cattery first if allergies are a concern.
How much grooming does a Ragdoll need in Singapore’s humidity?
Ragdolls have a silky semi-long coat with little undercoat, so they mat far less than other long-haired breeds. A 10-minute brush 2–3 times a week is enough to keep them tangle-free, even in Singapore’s climate. Air-conditioned indoor environments suit them perfectly.
British Shorthair or Ragdoll — which is right for me?
British Shorthairs are quieter, more independent and very low-maintenance — ideal for working households. Ragdolls are more affectionate and interactive, do best with daily company, and have a slightly higher grooming need. Both breeds are calm, child-friendly and well-suited to Singapore apartment living. See our British Shorthair page to compare.
Are Ragdolls suitable for Singapore’s climate and HDB flats?
Yes. Ragdolls are gentle, indoor-loving cats that settle beautifully into HDB and condo homes. Their silky coat has little undercoat, so they cope well with our humidity, and they are happiest in air-conditioned or well-ventilated spaces. Keep them cool, hydrated and indoors and they make a calm, devoted apartment companion.
How long do Ragdoll cats live?
Ragdolls generally live 12–17 years with good care. Our Ragdoll kittens come from health-screened parents and arrive fully vet-checked, vaccinated and microchipped with a lifetime genetic guarantee, giving them a strong, healthy start to a long life in Singapore.
Are Ragdolls good with children and other pets?
Exceptionally so. Ragdolls are placid, patient and people-oriented — they rarely scratch, tolerate handling well, and usually get along happily with gentle children, dogs and other cats. This easy-going nature makes them one of the best family cat breeds for Singapore homes.
Where can I buy a healthy Ragdoll kitten in Singapore?
