Privacy Policy
Privacy, kept simple.
How we collect, use, and protect your personal data — written in plain language, and compliant with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Last updated · 9 July 2026
The short version
- We collect only what we need to arrange your viewing, complete the adoption, and support you afterwards.
- We never sell your personal data. Ever.
- You can access, correct, or withdraw consent at any time — just email our Data Protection Officer.
- Marketing reaches you only if you opt in. Analytics are anonymised; ad tools run only with your consent.
- We keep data only as long as needed, and protect it with encryption, 2FA, and PCI-compliant payments.
Who we are
We are CatzillaSG, an AVS-licensed cattery in Singapore (AVS Licence Numbers AS21L00066 & AS23L00050). Our cattery is at 261 Geylang Road, #02-01, Singapore 389317.
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data we collect through our website (catzillasg.com), in-person visits, appointment bookings, phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
What we collect
Information you provide directly
- Name, email address, phone number, and residential address — for appointment booking, adoption paperwork, and AVS-required transfer documentation
- Photos and details of your home environment that you choose to share during pre-adoption discussions
- Payment information (processed by independent third-party providers — we do not store card details on our systems)
- Communications you send us by email, WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, or phone
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed (via server logs and site analytics)
- Cookies set for site functionality (booking sessions), performance analytics, and — only if you consent — marketing tools (detailed under “Cookies and tracking” below)
Why we collect it
- To schedule and conduct private viewings at our cattery
- To issue purchase agreements and health contracts (legally required for kitten transfer under AVS regulations)
- To register your kitten’s microchip in your name
- To support you post-adoption with care advice, warranty service, and the lifetime cattery support we promise
- To comply with Singapore AVS requirements and international registry standards (WCF, CFA, TICA, ANCATS)
- To send marketing about new kittens — only when you have separately opted in. Any marketing calls or SMS to Singapore numbers are screened against the national Do Not Call (DNC) Registry unless you have given us clear consent, and every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link we honour promptly
- To improve our site through anonymised analytics
- To keep our booking system secure and prevent misuse — we log technical data such as IP address and device with each appointment request to detect spam or fraudulent bookings
Who we share it with
We only share your data with parties who help us run the cattery, and only to the extent necessary:
- Payment processors — to process deposits and balances. We never store your card details.
- Singapore AVS / National Parks Board — for regulatory transfer documents
- Veterinary partners — for continuity of care
- Microchip registry providers — for registration in your name
- Hosting provider (SiteGround) — for site operation, under their data-processing agreement
- Email & analytics providers — only when you opt in to marketing, or as anonymised analytics
- Law enforcement or regulators — if legally required
We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
Cookies and tracking
We use three categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary — for booking sessions and core site function
- Performance — anonymised site analytics (Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymisation)
- Marketing — loaded only if you accept marketing cookies. These include the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Google Ads tags, which identify your device and share data with Meta and Google so we can show you our ads. This tracking is not anonymous.
You can disable cookies through your browser at any time. Some features (such as the appointment booking flow) may not work fully without strictly-necessary cookies.
How long we keep it
- Customer adoption records — 7 years (Singapore business and tax requirements)
- Marketing mailing list — until you unsubscribe
- Appointment enquiries not converted — 12 months, then deleted
- Site analytics — up to 26 months (Google Analytics default)
- Server access logs — rolling 90 days
Your rights under the PDPA
Under the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you (Section 21)
- Correct data that is inaccurate (Section 22)
- Withdraw consent to ongoing processing (Section 16) — we will tell you the likely consequences before processing your withdrawal
To exercise any of these rights, email catzilla.sg@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy Request — [your name]”. We will respond within 30 days.
As a courtesy, we will also provide a readable copy of your data on request. (Formal data portability under the PDPA is not yet in force in Singapore — we offer this voluntarily.)
How we protect it
- HTTPS / TLS encryption across every form and page
- Two-factor authentication on our hosting and email accounts
- Regular plugin, theme, and server updates
- No payment card details stored on our systems — all payments go through PCI-compliant processors
- If a data breach is likely to cause you significant harm, or affects 500 or more individuals, we will notify the PDPC as soon as practicable — and no later than 3 calendar days after we determine the breach is notifiable — and notify affected individuals as soon as practicable thereafter, in accordance with the PDPA Data Breach Notification Obligation
Children
Our services and adoption process are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please use this site only with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
